Salut,

FLAC
Depeche Mode - S.E.C., Glasgow, Scotland, UK? 1986-04-06
"Black Celebration" tour

Incomplete audience recording
Lineage: low gen (?) audience tape -> Nakamichi CR-4E cassette deck -> Sony PCM-M10 (24-bit/48khz) -> WAV (24/48 ) -> in Audacity 2.0.5: sped up by 5.5% -> WAV (24/48 ) -> in Adobe Audition CC: automatic phase correction (most accurate settings), normalized to -0.1dB, manual click removal of 2 clicks -> WAV (24/48 ) -> FLAC 16-bit 44.1khz using FLAC 1.3.0 64-bit (level 8 compression) and foobar2000 v1.3.2 with its Resampler (SoX) component (best quality), tracked using cuesheet
Transfer: fallenqueen
auCDtectTaskManager log included

A decent audience recording. This transfer is clearer than the previous lossless version I shared, although it's still quite hissy. The first few seconds of "Blasphemous Rumours", "New Dress", "Stripped", "Something To Do", "Just Can't Get Enough", and "More Than A Party" are all strangely missing. There was a tape flip during "A Question Of Lust", but this must have been done by whoever prepared this tape, not the actual taper as I was able to seamlessly join the two parts.

Many thanks to fallenqueen who mailed me a new batch of low-gen tape transfers on a couple microSD cards for me to master and share. Not all are upgrades unfortunately, but I have picked out about 25 recordings which are definite upgrades. After these 25, I will check the remaining ones again to ensure they are not worth sharing.

Mastered & shared by ligushka on DIME April 26, 2014.

Track list:
01. [1:16] Christmas Island
02. [5:56] Black Celebration
03. [4:13] A Question Of Time
04. [5:46] Fly On The Windscreen
05. [5:02] Shake The Disease
06. [4:58] Leave In Silence
