Echo & the Bunnymen formé à Liverpool en 1978 par le chanteur Ian McCulloch, influencé par la scène post-punk/cold-wave britannique,
notamment "Joy Division" dont ils font la première partie de certains concerts.
leur plus gros succès commercial est l'album "Echo & the Bunnymen" paru en 1987, avec le morceau "Lips Like Sugar", un album que tous les membres du groupe détestent à l'époque.
leur album référence reste quand même l'album "The Killing Moon" sortie en 1984, le groupe s'est séparé et reformé plusieurs fois, le chanteur Ian McCulloch à lui sortie plusieurs albums solo.
En 2015 le groupe est toujours en activité et est actuellement en tournée, leur dernier album studio est sortie en 2014 "Meteorites"

Un très bon enregistrement FM qui à été capturé live par France Inter, et diffusé dans l'émission "Feedback", présenté par Bernard Lenoir au début dès années 80.

Excellent boot (FM) des Bunnymen's qui vient de refaire surface, issue des Black Sessions de 1997.
Les Bunnymen's viennent de se reformer et c'est leurs 1ère Black Sessions une diffussion radio en direct,
Bernard Lenoir interrompt la diffusion a partir de "Bedbugs and Ballyhoo", surement du au flash info, elle est donc incomplète, ainsi que "All right now"
et "Nothing Lasts Forever" n'apparaît pas dans ce boot.

Nouvelle "Black session" cette fois avec "Ian McCulloch" a l'époque de son 2ème album solo "Mysterio",
Black session très "Unplugged" avec un "Ian" qui était dans une ambiance très cool et déconnade ce soir là.
