The Depeche Mode show ended early due to (according to Depeche Mode's management) Dave having a bout of laryngitis. Supposedly he lost his voice after the six songs he performed. There were reports that he couldn't hear himself through his in-ear monitors during any of the songs he did, because he was supposedly seen telling the sound guy with hand gestures to turn him up. He kept it together up through the first six songs, getting the audience to sing a lot of the choruses, and when it came time for Martin Gore to sing "Home" and "It Doesn't Matter Two" (a regular break in the schedule). The music for "In Your Room" started which was supposed to bring Dave back on-stage, but when Dave failed to appear, the song was stopped and a sort of on-stage huddle happened. We learned that Dave was too ill to continue the show, and were asked by Andy Fletcher if we'd mind hearing a few more songs from Martin. The crowd cheered and chanted Martin's name. I shouted "Compulson" (geek that I am), which is a single from Martin's first solo effort. Martin announced they'd do one that was easy for them to do under the circumstances, and sang "Leave In Silence" (which hasn't been performed in the US in 20 years apparently). He proceeded on with "Somebody" (a signature song), "A Question of Lust" and "Damaged People" (off the new album). All the last four songs were not on the setlist for that night, and I'm not sure Damaged People was even one they were doing on this tour. I felt it was really brave of Martin and showed such showmanship to keep the show going for as long as he could without much rehearsal. He sounded so amazing as he sweated bullets up there. The worst bit was when Fletcher came back out to announce that the show was over. The look on the man's face as he did the tough part of saying something to a crowd of people that you just never want to have to say was heart breaking. He was visibly broken as his shoulders slumped over and his head went down as he exited the stage amidst a few boos from idiots who didn't know any better, and cheers and chants for more Martin from fans. I swear some people really must have been raised by wolves (re: those who booed).
I just hope that Depeche Mode don't wait another 12 years to come back to our fair city.

Exemple type de ce qui "ne me plait pas". Ce n'est pas que ce soit officiel ou pas, c'est simplement que ce DJ n'apporte rien et ne fait que colporter ce qui a été dit par d'autres.
Depeche Mode Fans Demand Money Back After Concert
Kansas City, MO - Thousands of concert-goers headed to Starlight Theater expecting rock and roll. Now, some angry concert-goers are heading down a different road. They want their money back.
Thousands of fans in Kansas City shelled out cash to see Depeche Mode, a band big in the early 90s. Now hundreds of them have signed an online petition, wanting their money back.
Stephanie Halterman was thrilled to see the band that she started following in high school. She shelled out nearly $1,000 for 10 tickets to the Depeche Mode concert. But Halterman and other upset fans say, after a rocking half-hour, another singer replaced the lead. She says 15 minutes after that, the band announced the lead singer was sick and the show was over.
"If you pay to go see somebody and you do not get a performance, then you should be refunded your money or they should come back and you should get to see them again," Halterman said.
The marketing manager for the band's promoter, John Martin, says he has been hearing fans' complaints. Martin says the concert lasted more than an hour and says the promoters are talking with the band and looking for a solution.
Martin says he's also returning fans' calls and e-mails. You can email the band's promoter at
